FINALLY... Jasmine Trias got booted from American Idol. *sigh* I think it was just right that she got the axe. She just doesn't have what it takes to be the next Idol. Anyhow, here's a brief account of what happened during the last two episodes. Each of the remaining contestants had to sing three songs. One was their choice, the other the judges', and the last one was Clive Davis' (He has a been known for discovering winning talents... Daw.) pick. Here's what they sang.

Jasmine

1. Saving All My Love
2. Mister Melody - Paula picked this for Jasmine.
3. All by Myself - I couldn't believe Clive Davis made her sing this. This was La Toya's song. Parang may ibig sabihin.. O wala. Ewan.

Fantasia

1. Chain of Fools
2. Fool in Love - This was Simon's choice. After Fantasia sang, Simon told her that "that was the worst thing he ever heard in his life and that she needed sympathy votes." He's funny.
3. Greatest Love of All

Diana

1. Ain't No Mountain High Enough - She sounded as if she was screaming and shouting when she sang this one.
2. Because You Loved Me - Randy did the choosing.
3. Don't Cry Out Too Loud

According to the reviews that I've read, Fantasia gave the best performances of the night, Diana nailed her last two songs, and Jasmine was aight... Really, she's soooo lucky that people from Hawaii support her (and that a lot of guys like her). Without them, she wouldn't go as far as she did in the competition. But she has talent nonetheless. She has to take lessons or something because she has a beautiful voice. Haa
