Haha. I'm blogging again. La lang. I haven't been around for three days because as you might have guessed, I was studying. Despite my obvious nerdness, I got to meet/bond with my high school mates today. I ate lunch with Cox, Les, Mell, Kri, Reg, Tanya, and cK at Shakey's Katipunan. We talked about school, Math, boys (nyaha!), and the like. *Kilala ni Tanya at ni Reg yung crush ko. So, so happy! HAHA!* Mellow, Les, and Reg had to leave at around 1215.. Kaya kami kami rin nila Cox ang magkakasama. Haaay. Was hoping more of my former classmates would come. Sabi ko nga, kami kami rin lang ang nagkita.. Hehehe.

After lunch and a sort of study period at McDo, Cox, cK, and I went back to UP (and Kri and Tanya went home). cK went to the DebSoc orientation, and Cox and I loitered around. Hehe. Went to get my email account at the Computer Center. Ang haba ng email ko. andrea_francesca.salvador@up.edu.ph HAHA! Haba :) After that, we went to Yakal Hall to leave two books for Cox's groupmate in Kas 1. We eventually walked around Melchor Hall in search for cuties. Nyaha. :) Medyo wala akong nakita pero ok lang. Ngayon lang ako nakarating sa Melchor :) After our short search, we headed for CASAA, studied a little (Long exam ni Cox sa Math..), explored AS, and went on our separate ways. I rode a jeep to the gym (for my PE class) and she walked toward the Math Building. When I arrived at the gym, I soon found out that our Taekwondo class would not commence because our instructor was ill. ACK. Kay malas nga naman. Handang handa pa naman ako.. Tsk. I decided to go home afterwards due to the fact that Kuya Lem had an orientation to attend to and that'll finish at 5. So there. HAHA. La lang. And, saw my chem camp mate across. *Hi Julius!* Hehehe :)

Anyhow, we had our first lab activity in chem last Friday. Natutuwa ako! Ang galing kasi. Hehehe :) Ang babaw... Biruin mo yung copper (II) nitrate magiging copper metal. Ang galing. HAHA! After lab, I went to the Ateneo to get an application form for my sister. Sobrang harrassed ko nun. Nakakahiya kasi nakita ko pa si Serena tas may kausap siyang kaibigan. Kakahiya. Major sabog ko. :) Nakakatawa kasi habang naglalakad ako sa Ateneo parang naiisip kong tama ngang UP ang pinili ko. Di ko pa alam ngayon kung bakit basta nararamdaman ko lang. Hehehe :) Bumalik ako sa UP kaagad kasi may Math pa ko. Tas di pala dumating yung aming prof. Haaaay... I'm so friggin scared of him. Bummed around with my classmates at CASAA and went home at 400. :)

Saw my crush last Friday as well. I think he smiled at me. YEY! Feeling ko lang ata yun... At saka ewan ko ah... Pero ang hot ni Christian Bautista. Sana kantahan niya ko. *sigh* :)

Hafta get back to my reading. Gabi gabi ko na lang kasama sina Campbell, Reece, LeMay, Brown, and Bursten... Haaaay... Sana gumaling na tong bukol ko para di ako madistract sa pagbabasa. Nerdness... :)

I can finally use the computer probably because everyone's asleep?!?! Nyaha! :) Anyhow, I'm still awake up to this hour (It's 114 AM)because I have no class/es tomorrow. But I'm still going to school to meet with my MBB group. :) Katamad... Kwento ulit ako. Hay. Walang kamatayang kwento. :p

~ Went to San Juan with family for my parents' Grand Shepherds Reunion (Muntik na kaming mapagkalamang singles. Lol!)
~ Went to Glorietta afterwards because I was supposed to buy a new pair of shoes, but I ended up with a new school bag instead
~ Watched CSI. HAHA!
~ Read/studied DNA chemical structure (sort of!) and the experiments that lead to the discovery of DNA as the carriers of genetic information (NERD!)

Monday

~ Was almost late for Comm 3 (I still don't have a copy of the book/reference material)
~ Had early lunch with Ben. Pagaling ka na friend! Saw Cox as well
~ MBB 10. Haha. Ang hirap i grasp nung ibang sinasabi ng prof namin.
~ Went to the CS Lib with Dindin to look for information for our report on the impact of mol bio on modern science. Merong isang article na nagsasabing pwede kang gumawa ng nanoelectric components out of/through DNA... Di ko nga maintindihan eh... Hehehe :)
~ Met Ben at CAL. Ate outside CASAA. Daming naninigarilyo.
~ Proceeded to my Math 17 class (Si Ben sa Arnis niya.). Our prof discussed complex fractions. Have to be careful not to be careless. Sirius Black was super hot yet weird at the same time. Lol.
~ Went to AS to check if we really don't have Socio 10. Wala nga talaga.
~ Rode a cab home.
~ Slept for two hours, ate dinner, and watched Fear Factor
~ Studied for Chem quiz on writing chem equations. Naintindihan ko na ang stoich!

Tuesday

~ Discussed chem rxns, concept of mass, the mole, ..., during chem. Ang bilis...
~ Had early lunch with June, Mean, and Joyce.
~ Chem Lab. Fun. :) Nakapasa ko sa Lab Safety Test at sa una naming pagsusulit. Quiz today was a bit confusing :) Lab instructor demonstrated general lab techniques. First exp't this Friday.
~ Went to Katipunan with Roxanne to eat lunch and buy stuff for Ming. Muntik na kaming maulanan.
~ Math 17 surprise quiz. I was so friggin' nervous... *sigh* Good thing the quiz wasn't so hard. Kaya :)
~ Went to Vargas Museum/CAL/Vargas Museum to meet Kuya Lem. :)

Friends, pagdasal niyo na lang ako. Kailangan magdasal nang puspusan... :) On the bright side, I got to see Debra, Lesley, and Mellow this afternoon. Sobrang unexpected. :) Miss you guys! Let's get together again this week! I ran into? Aesha while I was looking for my Socio book at National. I also saw Robin but he didn't notice me, I think. Hmm... Anyhow, my Math professor looked pretty interesting today. HAHA! Sirius Black! :) Whoa! :p Hot? :) At nakasalisi ko yung crush namin ni Ben kanina! Hehehe :) Interesting day talaga :) Saya! :)

Buti na lang di kami nagkaroon ng quiz sa Math kanina. Wala kong yellow pad! :) Kaya para makaiwas sa kaba, bumili na ko kanina! Hehehe :) So, mag aaral na naman ako ngayon. Review review... Factoring, Naming compounds (Yek!), and DNA... ACK! Help me! :)

My chem book is soooooooooo heavy. My arms are falling apart... Taekwondo pa naman bukas... *sigh*

My first week as an Iskolar ng Bayan is officially over. And honestly, it wasn't as fun? as I thought it would be... Anyhow, back to the detailed account of the rest of the week (since I wrote about my first two days already!).

Wednesday

I woke up at 7 o'clock in the morning because I was going to the College of Science Orientation. Kuya Lem and I arrived at the Palma Hall at around 830, and I had to walk my way to the CS. When I reached my destination, which was the CS Auditorium, I tried looking for a seat, and fortunately, I found someone I knew - Clara! Hehehe. Buti na lang kundi lonerdom na naman toh... :) There's nothing much to say about the orientation. Lol. :) Parang alam mo na yung mangyayari pag mga ganun. The dean, department heads, and other officials? were introduced. Academic policies were discussed. And the different organizations endorsed their respective groups. :) At around 11, Mhaye (Clara's course - mate), Abby (Mhaye's friend), and I went to the OUR to get Mhaye's ID. After that, we went to Vinzons and soon parted ways. They were going to Kalayaan, and I was going to Katipunan to buy Ming's stuff and eat lunch. While I was in National, I saw cK, and we went to Jollibee to see her mom. :) Anyhow, I had to really eat quickly because I have to go back to UP for the MBB orientation. *Medyo tinatamad na kong magkwento kaya mabilisan na lang* I was late for my MBB orientation because... Late lang talaga :) We introduced ourselves blah blah, and we played two games - Human Bingo and Pass the Message. The message was Sodium dodecyl sulfate polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis is more advantageous over agarose gel electrophoresis because it gives results with higher resolution despite its limited range of separation. SORRY! Anong klaseng message yun?!? Di ko sure yung mga spelling at kung ano yun tas nung pinasulat na sa mga tao sa dulo alam nila kung ano yun. WHAT?!?!?! Hehehe :) After playing, we ate junk food together (MBB freshies, shiftees, and MBBS)... Anyhow, I had to leave early because I have PE at 3. I left really fast that I forgot to bring my MBB primer. ACK! :) Arrived at the gym at 340, only to find that our instructor wasn't there yet. At past 4, he finally entered the dance area with the varsity taekwondo team. (Andun si Janice Lagman!) Coach/Sir Mats gave out the class cards and discussed his requirements. He then told us to stand up and we started stretching. Sobrang sakit. Death. Good luck na lang sa akin. :) Hehehe. After class, I went to the main library to fetch? Kuya Lem. Di ko alam kung saan papasok tas ang tagal pa niya kaya sobrang loser... Muntik na kong umiyak. Haaay... Went home afterwards... Nakakapagod talagang pumasok.

Thursday

I arrived at CAL at around 655. My Comm 3 class started at 715 and my professor is Ma'm Erica Valerio. She gave out the class cards as usual and discussed the course requirements and stuff... Mukhang matrabaho pala ang Comm 3. Ang daming group work! On our next meeting, we're supposed to introduce our groupmates in a creative manner. Buti na lang nahasa? ang aking mga creative powers nung high school. Hehehe. :) After class, I went to the AS lobby to meet Ben. We had an early lunch at CASAA and then proceeded to our next classes. She had Math 17 and I had MBB 10. Our professor's Mr. Timothy Travers. He's quite funny actually. Hehehe :) And he already asked us to read something. Hehehe. Mga MBB journals for our paper due at the end of the sem. Jef (our blockhead) was tasked to photocopy the journals for the entire class. La lang. :) At 11, June (my blockmate) and I went to AS because she had another class, and again I was left all alone. HAHA! Went to Katipunan to kill time. Ben's class ends at 1 so I had to do something til then. I ate at KFC alone and decided to go back to UP at 1230. *I saw Gen and Vigile on my way to CAL.*I went to CAL to meet Ben, and while we were walking to Palma Hall, we saw Cox. Grabe! She's transferring! Astig! :) Hehehe. Moving on, we (Ben and I) kept walking around the UP and ate dirty ice cream. Afterwards we proceeded to Ben's next class at the Vanguard place. Freaky... Ang dilim dun. Hehehe :) I then went to the Math building for my Math class. Buti na lang my friend ako dun. Hehehe :) Napagalitan pala ko ng prof namin kasi maingay kami. Nakakahiya! At 350, I rushed to my next class - Socio 10. The prof was rather scary at first, but then he turned out to be ok. :) Hehehe. Pwedeng magsalita nang Filipino sa klase! Sa bagay, ang kursong iyon ay Being a Filipino: A Sociological Exploration. :) Mukhang magiging masaya siyang klase :) Met Ben after class again and we ate at CASAA. Met Kuya Lem at the PHAN because Ben had to ask him something and we had to go home. Arrived here at around 7 pm.

Friday

Chem 16 seems to be a tough subject. Natatakot na ko!!!!!!!!!!! Hehehe. Most of my classmates came from Philippine Science or other science high schools. Shit.. Pano pag final exams na tas ako lang di na exempt? And some of the topics we were to discuss had not been tackled during my third year chem class..... ACK! Had lab class at 10. Our teacher looks really nice. :) She explained the requirements and lab safety guidelines. We have a quiz next week in order to see if we're ready for lab work. Ha! Dindin's my lab partner by the way. La lang! :) Met Ben again after class. We were going to Miriam and seeing Mellow! YEY! :) Ang saya saya! :) Kulot na si Ms. Neri! Mahaba na buhok ni Ms. Lacson. :) It was soooooooo nice to see my former teachers again! I missed them a lot. Anyhow, the three of us went to Mcdo for lunch and we met Theo there. :) May T square siya. Ang haba. Katuwa :) At 2, I left Mcdo because I still had my Math class at 230. Sobrang madali! :) Buti di ako na late. We discussed the laws of exponents and did some exercises. Fun. :) Tatlong araw na kaming may math pero di ko pa rin kilala prof ko. Pero Sirius Black siya. Hehehe :) After class, I picked Ming at Miriam and I got to see my busmates. Haaaay... Saya talaga :) Went to UP again to meet Kuya Lem and went home afterwards..

My week's been crazy! Ha! :) Sana mabuhay pa ko sa mga susunod na linggo... :)

Haay.. Sa wakas ay tapos na ang pinakahihintay? pinakanakakatakot? na first day bilang 'freshie' sa Unibersidad ng Pilipinas. Sa katunayan, hindi naman pala masyadong nakakatakot... Talaga death lang sa kaba... Basta eto ang maikling (hmm.. mukhang magiging mahaba ata) pagsasalaysay sa mga nangyari sa aking nung Lunes.
Paalala: Maaaring di sakto yung oras na aking mga babanggitin.

6:45 am
... nang dumating ako sa may CAL (kasama ng pinsan ko) para sa una kong klase (Comm 3). Medyo nag usap usap pa kami ng pinsan ko at nung mga alas - 7 na ay umakyat na ako (sa third floor kasi yung classroom ko). Pagdating ko sa aking silid - aralan (actually, sa tapat lang pala) may mga kaklase na rin akong naghihintay. Pumasok kami siguro nang mga 7:15 ng umaga at naghintay para sa aming guro. Hindi siya dumating at hanggang alas - otso ako naghintay.

8:15 am
... ko pinuntahan si Ben sa Palma Hall (AS, pareho lang yun). Pagkatapos magkita ay nagtungo kami sa Admissions para ipasa ang UPCAT application ni Ming at sa CASAA upang kumain at magkwentuhan ukol sa aming mga klase, pagka - loner/loser.. Hehehe.

9:30 am
... nang maalala ko na kukunin pala ang aming mga ID sa pasukan. Dahil dito, nagmadali kaming naglakad papuntang OUR sapagkat may klase pa kaming dalawa ng alas - diyes. Pagkakuha ng aming mga ID ay mabilis kaming nagtungo sa Math Building kasi dun yung klase ni Ben at kailangan kong sumakay ng toki para makapunta sa susunod kong destinasyon.

10:10 am
... ata nung dumating ako sa Albert Hall para sa aking MBB 10. Madami na ngang tao nung dumating ako kasi medyo late na. Hehehe. Kagaya ng una kong klase, wala na naman kaming guro at naghintay kaming lahat nang isang oras...

11:05 am
... ay nagkita ulit kami ni Ben sa AS (Naks!). Hehehe. Kasama pala niya si Tanya at si Dani. Pagkalipas ng kaunting kwentuhan ay inikot? namin ni Ben ang Palma Hall. Nahanap din namin yung kanyang silid - aralan PH 112. Noong mga 11:25 am na ay pumasok na si Ben para sa kanyang Span 10. Nung tinanong niya kung Span 10 nga yung klase niyang napasukan, ang sagot sa kanya'y Eng 10 o 11. SO.. Mali pala ang classroom! Hehehe. Kaya ang ginawa namin (kasami si Reg) ay hanapin ang kwarto ni Ben. May nakapaskil na puting papel sa labas ng isang classroom at nakalagay na ang Span 10 ay sa 411. Pagkakita nun ay umakyat kami sa 4th floor nang madalian kasi nga mahuhuli na si Ben. Nagpaikot - ikot na ata kami sa buong fourth floor, bumaba nang dalawang beses, umakyat ulit, at madalas na nagtanong pero di pa rin namin nakita yung klase ni Ben. Buti na lang tumawag yung ate ni Theo para sabihing sa CAL pala yun. Ano?! Sa CAL lang pala... Haaaay...

12:30 pm
... nang dumating kami sa CAL 411. Nagsimula na pala yung klase (malamang) kanina pa. Ang tagal kasi naming maghanap... Hehehe :) Iniwan namin ni Reg si Ben dahil pupunta na kami sa University Theater para sa Freshman Welcome Assembly.

1:05 pm
... ay naabot na namin ni Reg ang University Theater pagkatapos ng dalawang ikot ng toki at paglalakad sa ilalim ng ulan. Pumasok kami sa loob nang basa ang aming mga saplot? (Hehehe) at umupo sa may kanang bahagi ng teatro. Hindi ko na ikukuwento lahat nang nangyari nung welcome assembly. Basta tunay na nakakabilib ang mga iskolar ng bayan at talagang proud akong mapabilang sa komunidad ng UP. Hehehe :) Sobrang lamig nga pala sa loob.

4:30 pm
... ay unti - unti kaming pinalabas ng teatro at pinapila ayon sa aming mga kurso. Nahiwalay na naman kami ng aking mga kaklase at yun nga pumunta ko sa mga kapwa ko ka - MBB. Labo. :)

4:55 pm
... Pinagsimula na kaming maglakad ng aming mga block handlers (na siya nga pala'y ang organisasyong SuMS UP). Hehehe. Pupunta daw kaming Math Building galing University Theater. Mukhang malayo noh? Malayo nga siya talaga!

5:25 pm
... SA WAKAS! Naabot na namin ang Math Buidling. Isa isa naming pinakilala ang aming mga sarili (Ang dami kong matalinong ka block. Joke lang yun. Lahat sila matatalino! Lahat ng MBB matalino. HAHA. Kapal :p) at bumoto kung sino ang aming magiging block head. Nanalo si Jef. Hehehe :) La lang. Pagkatapos nun ay nagkaroon ng isang mini open forum at nagkwento ang isa sa aming mga block handlers na si Hender. Nakakatuwa siya :) Naglaro pa kami ng human bingo pero medyo nakakatamad na kasi gabi na nun.. :) At gutom na ko. Hehehe. Buti na lang binigyan nila kami ng tsokolate. HAHA! :p

7:00 pm
... Sinundo na ko ni Kuya Lem sa MB at umuwi na kami. Hehehe. :) Pagod na pagod na ko......

Mukhang napahaba yung aking kwento. Hehehe :) Kahit na medyo loner/loser, mahirap, at pagod na pagod ako, ayos lang. Kakayanin. At dapat nga talagang kayanin.

Kanina pala ay gumising ako nang 5 am, pumasok sa aking 7 am na klase (pero walang guro pati sa lab), pumuntang Katipunan, naglakad lakad na naman, at may nakilalang semi - friends. Hehe :) May nakilala (sort of) na rin akong prof (sa Math 17) pero di niya sinabi pangalan niya. Nagsimula na nga kaming mag - aral eh. Hehehe. Medyo Sirius Black ang dating niya. :) Heehee. Pasok na naman ako bukas (orientation kasi sa CS at MBB). Panibagong araw, panibagong pagsubok at kakayanin. :)

AAAAAHHHHHHHHH! Ngayon lang talaga nag sink in na college na ko kasi papasok na ko bukas! AAAAAAHHHHHHHH! Sobrang napaparanoid na ko't lahat. Di ko na alam iisipin ko. Magiging katawa tawa ba ko? Ano bang kailangang dalhin? San kaya tong building na toh? Haaaaay! I'm soooooooo freaking out... Alam kong di ako makakatulog mamayang gabi sa pinaghalong kaba, takot, excitement, paranoia..... Medyo namimiss ko na nga ang mahal kong Miriam. *sigh* Pero sadyang kailangan (at gusto ko naman din) itong pagbabago. Drama eh? :) Heehee! *Tingnan ninyo at wala ng coherence whatsoever yung sinulat ko. My nerves are getting the best of me. ACK!*

Nanalo kagabi si Hero. :) Yey! Haha! :) And I finished reading Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix last night. I almost cried while reading in which Dumbledore told Harry everything. Para bang lahat na ata ng uri ng pagdurusa naranasan na ni Harry. Ngak ngak ngak! Basta yun... ;)
