Ho hum. Ming, Moreen (Ming's friend), and I went to the School of the Holy Spirit yesterday to watch Band Aid VII (It's like their variety show plus a battle of the bands.) Anyhow, we arrived at around 430 pm. We walked around the fair grounds (It's their fair by the way. Haha.) and ate an early dinner. By 6 pm (I think), we entered the gym and looked for 'seats' so to speak. We were seated at the back but because of our 'singit powers', we were able to sneak up front. We were around 2-3 feet from the stage. Ha! Yey! :) So... Ano bang kwento? The first seven bands were amateur ones because the battle of the bands came first. There was a band from Miriam High School and they won second place. We were the only ones cheering for them. Haha. :) The lead singer was good. Really. :p Ang husay!!! And the bassist of the band who came in first looked like Harry Potter. NYAHAHAHAHAHA! *nudges Ming* Ang galing din nila. :) Magaling silang lahat. :p

After the battle of the bands, a pair of disc jockeys from Magic came on stage to give away free CD's. An Atenean won the repackaged Bamboo CD and he also won for himself a chance to meet them backstage. Swerte. :) After giving away the CD's, they announced the winners of the battle. (Ha! Nauna ko nang sinabi kung sino yung mga nanalo... ) And then, several people started fixing stuff on stage... Haay... Tapos pumasok na sila. The drummer of Bamboo, Vic Mercado came first I think. Then Nathan Azarcon (Tama ba Ming?) came on stage. They were doing a soundcheck I think. Tas pumasok na si Ira Cruz. My gulay! Ang gwapo gwapo gwapo (1000x) niya.... Haaaay. :) Nakakain love. Hahaha. :) After a few moments, Bamboo came in and they started playing. The crowd literally went gaga over them. Camera phones, digital cameras, and all that came out of nowhere to capture 'the moment'. People were pushing and nudging each other to get to the front. High talaga yung mga tao. Buti na lang talaga at malapit kami sa stage. :) I was trying to take pictures of them but someone I think pushed me and I dropped my phone. Buti na lang din mabilis ang reflexes ko at nakuha ko siya agad kundi sira na. No more phone. :) Hahaha. They performed four songs and I dunno... Wild energy talaga na nakakahawa. Pati ako napatalon at napasigaw. Unang beses ko yung ginawa sa isang concert. Haaaay... Ang saya. At... ANG GWAPO TALAGA NI IRA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yun lang. Hahaha. :) They were certainly well-received by the audience. :)

After Bamboo, Barbie's Cradle, Spongecola, and Narda performed. The audience also went crazy over Spongecola. Haha. And the lead from Narda was super cool. Talon lang tayo nang talon. :) Saya! Hehe. I'd have to give props to the organizers of the event. They did a great job. I think that the variety show in Miriam must also start earlier than 7 pm. There should be less fillers (i.e. fashion shows), and instead of having a long lineup of bands, I think that they should limit it to only a certain number. Pag madaling araw na kasi, wala nang tao at di na napapanood yung mga inaabangang banda nila. At ang saya ng crowd... Sabi ni Ming nung fair nila nung isang taon, yung mga nanonood di man lang nakisaya, nakitalon, nakikanta... Puro picture lang. Nakakahiya sa mga tumutugtog. Basta yun. :) Masaya lang. Masaya talaga. :)

At saka nga pala, dahil astig ng Band Aid, gusto ko ring magkabanda. Bwahahaha. :) Asa pa. :) But who knows? Heehee.

And my Chem 26.1 exam sucked big time. I just hope and pray that I pass. Haaaay... :) Watched The Last Samurai again and I got to see Down with Love. Super funny and weird. Haha. Witty. :) Fun. :) Haaaay... Buti na lang at tapos na ang pitong mga exam ko. Sa 18, dalawa na naman. Math at Bio. Please oh please, help me....
